Toby Hung

Toby Hung has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Toby began their career as a Researcher at The University of Hong Kong and later worked as a Reporter for Coconuts Media in 2015. In 2016, they served as a Marketing Specialist at NBCUniversal Media, LLC and also worked as an Editor-in-Chief for The Hoya. Toby gained experience in IT Management Consulting at Metis Strategy and briefly worked as a Project Management intern at AIA. Toby joined Google in 2018 and held various roles including Maps, Google for Startups, and Ads. Toby also worked as a Researcher at the U.S. Department of State, co-founded Georgetown Ventures, and is currently serving as the Co-Founder of 1Fort since 2022.

Toby Hung has pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Georgetown University. Their major was in Linguistics and Economics, while they opted for a minor in Art History. Additionally, Toby Hung participated in an intensive Swahili program at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).
