Sumera Umbreen is a qualified and experienced Computer Engineer with several years in the IT sector. Currently, Sumera works as Manager IS Governance at 1LINK (Pvt) Limited and has held the position of Manager in the IT department at EFU General Insurance Ltd in Karachi, Pakistan, from 2006 to 2019. Sumera has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Faculty member at Preston University and PIMSAT from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, Sumera was the Manager of GRC ISO-27001 and IS Audit, Assurance & Advisory at BDO in Pakistan in 2023, and served as AVP-IS Governance at Samba Bank Limited from 2024 to 2025.
