Anand Srinivas

Anand Srinivas is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product development and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as VP, Product & AI at 1Password since May 2025, Anand has also provided technical advisory for various startups since February 2013, specializing in AI, machine learning, and big data analytics. Previously, Anand held significant roles at VMware, including Head of Software for Edge Compute, where leadership was demonstrated in the launch and optimization of the VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator, and enhancements to the Nyansa product, which became part of VMware. Anand co-founded Nyansa, a leader in Network AI and Analytics, guiding the company to its acquisition by VMware. Anand's earlier career includes serving as Lead Algorithms Architect at Plexxi, contributing to SDN system architecture. Anand earned a PhD in Wireless Networking and Algorithms and a dual master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
