John Marstall

John Marstall is a seasoned designer with extensive experience in user interface and experience design. As a Senior Designer at 1Password since January 2021, John led a significant design overhaul of the sign-in process across multiple platforms, emphasizing user research and prototype testing. Previously, John worked at Hypergiant, guiding Fortune 500 companies on experience and machine intelligence. At Black Pixel, John contributed as a Staff Designer and Design Lead on projects like NetNewsWire, while earlier roles included Creative Director positions at Firewheel Design and Qarbon, and a Senior Illustrator and Art Director role at Gowalla. John began a career in design at Xplane and supported digital media efforts at Truman State University, where a BA in Philosophy was earned.
