Simon Barendse

Simon Barendse is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in programmatic interfaces and command-line integrations. Currently serving as Team Lead, Engineering - Programmatic Interfaces at 1Password since March 2021, Simon oversees the development of SDKs enabling deeper integration with the 1Password platform. Prior roles at 1Password include Team Lead and Tech Lead positions focusing on CLI and Shell Integrations, following the acquisition of SecretHub where Simon contributed as a Software Engineer from July 2018 to February 2021. Earlier experience includes a Developer role at Veneficus from October 2016 to July 2018, working on data analysis for businesses. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, earned in 2019.
