Rik Melis

Rik Melis began their career in 2015 as a Professor's Assistant at ETH Zürich. In 2016, they took on an internship as a Software Engineer at AutoForm Engineering GmbH, where they developed a reliable and efficient non-rigid registration algorithm in C++ and used Qt for the graphical user interface. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer at atfinity. Rik currently works as a Software Engineer at 1plusX since 2019.

Rik Melis obtained a High School degree from Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Mol in 2011, majoring in Mathematics, Latin, and Science. Rik then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from KU Leuven, which they completed in 2014. After that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from ETH Zürich in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022.
