Deepanshu Kumar

Deepanshu Kumar currently serves as Manager of CO₂ Accounting and Critical Design Review at 1PointFive, focusing on CO₂ accounting strategies for direct air capture (DAC) projects and ensuring compliance with various standards. Previously, Deepanshu held multiple positions at Oxy, including Sr. Advisor and Net Zero Lead, where responsibilities encompassed innovative reservoir engineering and assessing carbon capture and storage (CCS) potential in the Delaware Basin. As Reserves Manager for the Delaware Basin, leadership of a reserves team was essential for accurate reserves estimation and reporting. Deepanshu's career also includes roles at BP as a Reservoir Engineer and at Reliance as a Petroleum Engineer, with a robust educational background in Earth Science from Stanford University and Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad.
