Jon Bryant

Jon Bryant is a seasoned professional in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Managing Consultant at 1Spatial since April 2022, Jon is involved in the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR) project. Previously, Jon worked as an Independent GIS Consultant and Solution Architect at Geocake Ltd, specializing in geographic information strategy and data management from August 2016 to April 2022. Prior to that, Jon held the position of GIS Architect at BT from 2003 to July 2016, where responsibilities included geo-data strategy and the architecture of geospatial data repositories. Jon’s career also includes significant roles at Essex County Council as a GIS Consultant, and at Ordnance Survey, where contributions ranged from leading innovative technology projects to GIS initiatives for the organization's website. Jon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Southampton.
