John Mims

Business Development Research Analyst; Business Development Marketing Director at 1st Global

John Mims has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John started their career at Hughes Training, Inc. in 1987, where they held positions such as Multimedia Director, Design Supervisor, Art Director, and Graphic Designer. During their time there, they created technical illustrations, managed a support center library, and oversaw a multimedia department.

In 1997, John joined Brink's, Incorporated, ATM Services as the Manager of Training and Multimedia Development. John held this role until 1998, where they were responsible for training development and multimedia production.

From 1998 to 2011, John worked at Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting. John held various roles such as Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, Marketing Manager, Designer/Copy Writer, and Multimedia Project Manager. During their time there, they developed and executed marketing plans, managed product marketing campaigns, and created marketing materials.

In 2011, John joined 1st Global as a Business Development Research Analyst and later became the Business Development Marketing Director. In this role, they managed Salesforce implementation and customization, identified leads for prospecting, and tracked lead generation and sales pipeline activity.
