Lake Buckley

Lake Buckley currently serves as Director at 1stAveMachine since January 2021, bringing a wealth of creative experience from previous roles as Creative Director at SpecialGuest and Freelance Graphic Designer for Patagonia. With a diverse background, Lake has also worked as a Freelance Art Director and Designer for First Look Media and held various internships, including at Levi Strauss & Co., where notable achievements included receiving commendation from the CEO. Lake co-founded Shifting Gears, an initiative that earned Patagonia’s Environmental Grant for researching female farmers and food systems. Lake's academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Communications from the Rhode Island School of Design and environmental-focused degrees from Oberlin College and UCL.
