Leon Lin is a co-founder and CEO at 1stCollab since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pinterest from 2013 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Head of Discovery Product, Product Lead for Feed and Recommendations, Product Manager for Home Feed, and Software Engineer. At Pinterest, they led product teams, worked on feed products and the underlying platform, and focused on localization, dynamic feed changes, creator success, and content quality.
Before joining Pinterest, Leon worked as a CS124 and CS224N Head TA at Stanford University in 2013. Leon also had a software engineering internship at Facebook in 2012, where they worked on the Android/Mobile team. Leon contributed to various projects, including photo viewing, backend optimization, and offline connectivity.
During their time at Stanford University from 2010 to 2013, Leon served as a CS161 TA, conducted research at the Koller Lab, and worked as a CS124 TA. Leon contributed to course development and infrastructure, including autograders for online assignments. Leon was also a CS198 Section Leader from 2010 to 2011.
In 2010, Leon had a software engineering internship at A9.com, where they worked on the Search Analytics team and developed a trending keywords algorithm.
Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, Leon served as an iGEM Team Co-leader at Stanford University, where they modeled enzymatic reactions and constructed a tryptophan sensor.

Leon Lin attended The Lawrenceville School for high school. Leon then went on to study Computer Science at Stanford University, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree.
