John Peterson

John Peterson has a long and varied work experience. John began their career in 2001 as a Pilot in the US Navy, and went on to hold various roles including Air Boss, Commanding Officer, Production and Maintenance Director, Operations Director, Safety and Standardization Program Director, Senior Training Manager, TOPGUN Instructor Pilot, and Assistant Training Manager. In 2014, they moved to The Joint Staff as a Policy Specialist, where they developed US Government plans and policy with interagency and international partners. In 2022, they joined 2 Circle Consulting, Inc. as a Senior Warfare Analyst.

John Peterson's education history includes a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy from 1997 to 2001. John also obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering - Electrical Engineering certification from the State of Maryland in 2001. In 2012, they attended the Naval Aviation Safety School. In 2014, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Leadership from Trident University International. Additionally, John Peterson has obtained several certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, including Airline Transport Pilot, CFI, CFII, Commercial Pilot (CP), MEI, and a Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RP) from the Federal Communications Commission.
