Michael Steele

Michael Steele has a diverse work experience in the coffee industry. Michael started their career at Curve Theatre as a Cafe Assistant in November 2008 and worked there until August 2013. In August 2013, they joined Small Batch Coffee Roasters as a Barista and held that position until March 2014. Michael then moved on to 200 Degrees Coffee, where they initially worked as a Production Roaster from April 2014 to May 2018. Michael was promoted to the role of Head Roaster in May 2018 and continues to work in that position.

Michael Steele pursued their education at De Montfort University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors in Forensic Computing. Michael attended the university from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael also obtained certifications in Roasting Skills from the Specialty Coffee Association in January 2018, and in Green Coffee from the same institution in March 2015.
