Chris Herring is the Founding Director of 21 degrees, previously known as the Green Building Store, and has been in this role since 1995. They serve as a Non Executive Director at Efficient Building Solutions Ltd from 2021 to 2023 and continue as a Non Executive Director for Colne Valley Equitable Care Society Ltd. Chris is also a Trustee and former Chair of the Association for Environment Conscious Building, and they actively participate as a Climate Commissioner for the Kirklees Climate Commission. They hold a BSc Hons in Geography and Geology from the University of Reading, earned in 1973.
