Ricky Oram

Rick Oram has over three decades of experience in the technology and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at 247Security since October 2005. In this role, Rick has been instrumental in establishing a company focused on high-quality DVR, camera, and GPS equipment, directly contributing to both hardware and software design. Prior to this, Rick held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Digital Security Vision, where Rick successfully launched BusVision, driving revenue growth to over $3 million in just three years. Rick's career includes various IT director positions at Inacom and Vanstar, where responsibilities included managing large teams, overseeing budgets exceeding $4 million, and implementing advanced technological solutions. Rick began the professional journey at Computerland and NYNEX Business Systems, where roles ranged from field service technician to service manager. Rick holds an AAS in Electrical Engineering from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology.
