Maria Nyquist has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2006, they started working as a Structural Analyst at Epsilon utvecklingscentrum väst, where they stayed until 2008. Maria then moved on to work as a FEA Analyst and later as a Project/Analysis Lead at Aker Solutions from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Maria worked as a Structural Analyst at Kongsberg Oil & Gas, specializing in Finite Element analyses and calculations for Subsea structures.

In 2009, Maria founded and became the CEO of iQON Engineering AS, a consulting company in Oslo specializing in Structural Engineering and Project Management. Maria successfully managed and developed the company until 2015.

In 2015, Maria transitioned to the role of GDL Group Design Lead - Project Manager at Volvo Cars and also worked as a Project Manager at Sigma Industry for three years, from 2015 to 2018.

In 2018, Maria joined 2550 Engineering as the Vice President, and at the same time, they held the position of Vice President at the company. Maria also briefly worked as a representative for Qamcom Research and Technology.
