Ning Guo has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2013, they served as a Student Ambassador for Chalmers University of Technology, where they promoted the university in Chinese speaking areas and managed social media accounts. They later became the International Communications Officer at Chalmers in 2015, leading a recruitment project and operating social media platforms. In 2016, Ning joined NTNU as a Research Fellowship candidate, focusing on biomass gasification and conducting CFD simulations. They continued their research work at NTNU as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2020 to 2022, studying oxyfuel combustion and supervising a master's thesis. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer at 2550 Engineering, working on Industry 4.0 solutions predominantly using Python.
Ning Guo completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Energy and Process Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Energy Systems from Chalmers University of Technology between 2013 and 2016. Ning also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Thermal and Power Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which was completed between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, Ning Guo has obtained several certifications, including "Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," "Process Documents with Python Using the Document AI API," "Programming with JavaScript," "Version Control," and "Introduction to Front-End Development" from Coursera, all obtained in June 2023. Ning also holds a National Computer Rank Examination (Grade 3, Network Technology) certification achieved in March 2011, and a National Computer Rank Examination (Grade 2, C++) certification obtained in September 2010 from the National Education Examinations Authority, The Ministry of Education of China.
