Ed Cooney has extensive work experience in the mining industry, spanning over two decades. Most recently, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at 29Metals starting in July 2021. Prior to that, from October 2019 to June 2021, they held the role of Operations Director at EMR Capital.

From July 2015 to October 2019, Ed Cooney worked at Agincourt Resources as the General Manager and Director of Operations. Before that, they served as the Deputy General Manager of Operations at G-Resources from January 2013 to June 2015.

Ed Cooney completed their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Mining from UNSW between 1995 and 1999. In 2015 and 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from both UCLA Anderson School of Management and the National University of Singapore.
