Javier Hernandez has a wealth of experience in the digital and retail industries. Javier started their career in 2006 as a Summer Intern at Fon, and then went on to work at Lokku in 2007 as a Director of Sales and Business Development, Country Manager Spain & Italy, and Business Analyst. From 2014 to 2016, they co-founded and served as the CEO of TomToucan, a baby clothing company that exclusively marketed baby goods through the EU network of Amazon.com. In 2015, they worked at Mitula Group as the General Manager of APAC, and from 2016 to 2018 they were a Seed Investor and GM APAC at nisgo. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Managing Director APAC at KENDU | In-Store Visual Solutions and a Seed Investor at Fieldwork Coffee. Most recently, they have been working at Asaya as the Partner and Chief Digital Officer.

Javier Hernandez began their educational journey in 2002 when they obtained the Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz I & II from the Bundesrepublik Deutschland. From 2002 to 2007, they studied at the University of Deusto, where they earned an MSc in Business & Economics, with a focus on Strategic Management and Marketing. In 2007, they completed a study abroad program at the University of Hamburg as part of the Erasmus program.
