Ellen Embrey

Ellen Embrey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stratitia, Inc., a position held since February 2010, and also serves as Managing Partner at 2c4 Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Stratitia, since January 2013. Previously, Ellen worked as a Counselor at The Cohen Group, providing strategic business consulting from June 2010 to March 2013. Notably, Ellen served the US Department of Defense from January 2002 to January 2010 as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and Director of the TRICARE Management Activity, where responsibilities included acting as CEO of the Military Health System during a presidential transition. Ellen's earlier tenure in the Office of the Secretary of Defense spanned from 1987 to 2001, culminating in the role of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Assistance to Civil Authorities. Ellen holds a cum laude BS in Psychology and Education from Virginia Tech, awarded in 1976.
