Nigel Wilson

Nigel Wilson has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to product management, propositions, and marketing in the telecommunications industry. Nigel is currently working as the Product & Proposition Lead for Business Mobile at 2degrees since April 2023. Before that, they served as the Product Marketing Manager for Business at MyRepublic from August 2022 to April 2023.

Prior to these roles, Nigel spent several years at Vodafone New Zealand, where they held various positions including Consumer Broadband Product Lead, Propositions, GTM & Engagement CoE Lead, and Proposition Manager. Nigel was responsible for developing creative and commercially sound propositions for business customers, with a focus on mobile, broadband, security, and cloud services.

Before joining Vodafone, Nigel worked at Spark Digital New Zealand as a Proposition Manager, where they were involved in delivering Unified Communications and Voice propositions. Additionally, they served as a Business Manager for Propositions and as a Portfolio Manager.

Earlier in their career, Nigel worked at Telecom New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand - Wholesale in roles such as Senior Broadband Marketing Manager and Product Manager for Interconnection services.

Nigel began their career at Cable & Wireless PLC as a Product Manager for Enhanced Voice, where they were responsible for operational and revenue management of the INcontrol service.

Nigel Wilson completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a major in Marketing and their Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Political Studies from the University of Auckland, from 1987 to 1991.
