John Shield

John Shield is a Technology Director with extensive experience in the energy industry, known for leading complex design and manufacturing projects. They began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Woodside Energy and later held senior engineering roles at Subsea Riser Products Ltd and 2H Offshore. As the Managing Director at Subsea Riser Products Ltd, they demonstrated strong leadership and innovation. Currently, at LDD, John leads the development of new products and technologies in the Marine Foundations segment. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical from the University of Tasmania.
