Amy Schectman

Schectman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of 2Life Communities, a role held since 2010.

Past positions include Director of Public Housing and Rental Assistance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (2007–2010) and Associate Director for Public Housing and Rental Assistance in the Department of Housing and Community Development (2007–2010).

Schectman also served as Economic Development Director for the Town of Brookline (1995–2003) and as Director of Capital Planning for the Division of Capital Planning and Operations (1983–1989).

Schectman earned an M.C.P. in urban planning from MIT (1980–1982) and a B.A. in political science from Johns Hopkins University (1974–1978).
