2nd Chance Voters (2CV) is a Philadelphia-based organization working to empower formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted people through civic education, reentry support, workforce development, healing-centered programming, legal access, and year-round community engagement.

We believe full reintegration requires more than release. It requires access to opportunity, belonging, healing, and power. That is why our work connects returning citizens to civic education, voter participation, legal resources, workforce pathways, healing circles, and community-based support systems that help people rebuild their lives with dignity.

As part of this work, 2CV is helping create pathways into the clean-energy economy, including exposure, education, and workforce training opportunities connected to careers in the solar industry and related sectors. We believe economic mobility, healing, and civic participation are deeply connected.

Our mission is to help build the civic and community infrastructure needed for returning citizens not only to come home, but to lead, participate, heal, and thrive.
