Michael Katounas

Michael Katounas is the Chief Investment Officer of 2PointZero Group, a publicly listed investment holding company in Abu Dhabi, where they oversee a portfolio valued at over US$33bn. They specialize in alternative investments, private and public equity, and institutional governance. Prior to this role, Michael was Deputy CEO and Head of the Investment Committee at QInvest LLC, leading a team of approximately 100 investment professionals and managing investments exceeding US$2.0bn. With over 25 years of experience across MENA, Europe, and the U.S., they have executed transactions worth over US$80bn, serving in senior capacities at notable firms including Credit Suisse and ABN Amro. Michael holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and various professional qualifications, including CFA charterholder and Chartered Director.
