Sukhvir Basran

Sukhvir Basran is an experienced attorney specializing in ESG and sustainable finance. Currently serving as an ESG Partner at King & Spalding since August 2024, Sukhvir also holds the position of Board Chair at 2X Global since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Sukhvir was a Partner and ESG Co-Chair at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from January 2023 to August 2024, and held the position of Senior Legal Director and Co-Head of Sustainable Finance and Investment at Hogan Lovells from March 2012 to November 2022, where Sukhvir also served as Of-counsel. Sukhvir's experience includes a brief tenure as Counsel at Jones Day in early 2012 and over a decade as a Managing Associate at Linklaters from 1998 to 2009. Educational credentials include an LLM from the University of Cambridge and studies at the University of Wolverhampton.
