Gilbert Rahme began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at KDS, where they assisted in developing web applications using Apache, Tomcat, Java, Servlets, JSP, HTML, and CSS. Gilbert also built an Excel Add-in using VBA to interface Excel with the company's database. In addition, they helped redesign the object-oriented architecture of the Java code used on the web server and enhanced the website's user interface by introducing client-side JavaScript including jQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap. Gilbert also designed a RESTful web service API to serve as an abstraction layer around the company's DB, so users could access the DB via the HTTP protocol. Gilbert then moved up to the role of System Engineer, where they assisted in redesigning the network infrastructure, enhancing the security and reducing the complexity. Gilbert also upgraded the mail server using Postfix and upgraded the web servers with the latest Apache, Tomcat and Java versions.

In 2015, Gilbert Rahme joined i-Human Patients by Kaplan as a Senior Software Engineer, where they used agile methodology to develop a Task Oriented Customer Admin application, used by clients to manage their accounts and users. The application was built using Ruby on Rails on the server-side and jQuery on the front-end, which was later migrated to ReactJS. Finally, in 2018, Gilbert Rahme joined 33Across Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer.

Gilbert Rahme received a BE in Computer & Communication Engineering from Notre Dame University and an MS in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Gilbert also holds a Certificate of Completion for the Introduction to Big Data course from Coursera Course Certificates, which they obtained in January 2017.
