Jill MacIntyre is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in community engagement, research, and education. Currently serving as a Campaigner at 350.org since May 2023, Jill also contributes as a member of the HAES Physical Activity Advisory Committee at Western University, focusing on advocacy for weight-inclusive approaches to physical activity. Previous roles include Community Developer at Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre and Community Outreach Facilitator at TakingITGlobal, where an emphasis was placed on youth engagement and community projects. Jill has held research positions at the University of Guelph and the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute, exploring critical topics such as agroecological farming and food insecurity. A former Social Media Manager for the Green Party of Prince Edward Island, Jill has also coordinated digital communications and events at Spinnakers Landing. Jill holds a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Mount Allison University.
