George Georges

George Georges is the Chief Medical Officer at 35 Pharma since September 2024, leading initiatives in the development of TGF-beta superfamily therapeutics for high unmet medical needs. Prior to this, George held significant roles at Chiesi USA, Inc., including VP & Head of the Respiratory Unit in Global Clinical Development from November 2016 to July 2024, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the clinical development of the respiratory pipeline. Additional experience includes positions as VP Global Medical Affairs at Insmed Incorporated and VP of Strategic Development at InterMune. George's career also features expertise as Head of US Medical Affairs for Respiratory at GlaxoSmithKline and previous clinical roles in global clinical development. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease from the University of Colorado Denver and a residency in Internal Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
