Bhalchandra Joshi

Bhalchandra Joshi has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Bhalchandra currently serves as the President & Group Head Operations at 360 ONE since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Global Strategy & Operations at Cybrilla from October 2022 to September 2023. From February 2021 to October 2022, they held the position of Executive Director - Chief Operations Officer at White Oak Capital Management.

Before joining White Oak, Bhalchandra worked at Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd for a period of 11 years, starting in September 2009 and leaving in January 2021. Bhalchandra held the role of Chief - Service Delivery & Operations Excellence and made significant contributions to operations, customer service, and product/process design. Bhalchandra was also a Director on the board of Mutual Fund Utilities India Pvt Ltd for five years.

Earlier in their career, Bhalchandra worked at ICICI Bank for a decade, joining in August 1999 and leaving in September 2009. During their time at ICICI, they held the position of Deputy General Manager and played a key role in managing top-end relationships in the Small and Medium Enterprises Group.

Prior to ICICI Bank, Bhalchandra worked at Standard Chartered Bank from January 1994 to July 1999. Bhalchandra started as a Manager Retail Banking and later became the Branch Manager of the Ghatkopar Branch. Bhalchandra made significant contributions to setting up the credit and collections process for Finance Against Shares and Auto loans.

Bhalchandra's career in the banking sector started at CITI Bank N.A., where they worked as an Assistant Manager from May 1991 to December 1993. During their time at CITI Bank, they played a crucial role in setting up the auto front-end credit processes for auto finance in Mumbai. Bhalchandra also introduced Residence Verification and Telephonic Verification as tools to aid the credit department.

Bhalchandra Joshi obtained a Master of Management Studies (MMS) degree in Marketing from the Prin. L.N. Wellingkar Institute Of Management Development between 1988 and 1991. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Blockchain Revolution In Financial Services from INSEAD in 2022, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) from FINRA in 2021, and the NISM Series V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Continuing Professional Education Program from the National Institute of Securities Markets in 2020. Bhalchandra has also obtained certifications in Anti Money Laundering, Lean Six Sigma, and Claritas Investment, among others.
