Murilo Bettamio

Murilo Bettamio has an extensive work history, starting in 2011 with a role in transport logistics at DoubleYou. Murilo then went on to work as a mechanical designer at Endress+Hauser A/S in 2016. In 2017, they co-founded Youniversity Club, a platform connecting students in need of academic help with tutors. Murilo also worked as a mechanical design student assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In 2018, they worked as a consultant at Audi Electronics Venture GmbH and as a hardware specialist at techTALENTS by UnternehmerTUM, where they were a finalist in a tech challenge competition. In the same year, they co-founded their own IT security startup called Eclipse - Phone Security. In 2019, they worked on the development of a Lean and Modular Automated Guided Vehicle at Logivations. Most recently, they have been working at 360dialog, first as a communications specialist, then as the head of WhatsApp product, and currently as the head of sales and go-to-market for LATAM.

Murilo Bettamio completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2012-2017. Murilo then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Robotics, Cognition Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich from 2017-2020. Additionally, they participated in the Manage and More program offered by UnternehmerTUM, focusing on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies from 2018-2020. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Business Plan Basic Seminar and Venture Capital Lab certifications from UnternehmerTUM in 2019. Murilo has also obtained foundational sales and technical training on the WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta, although the exact date is not specified.
