Barbara Mentzer is currently an Instructor at Mentzer Mentoring and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for both NFPA and 360training.com. Previously, Barbara held the position of Critical Environment Operations Manager at Microsoft from 2019 to 2021 and worked as an Electrical Program Manager at BGIS from 2018 to 2019. Barbara has a diverse background, having instructed electrical apprentices at Des Moines JATC and served as Building Inspector II for the City of Altoona from 2005 to 2015. They are a Journeyman Electrician and earned a BA in Mass Communications from Buena Vista University in 1992.
