Saif Islam

Saif Islam has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Saif currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at 36ZERO Vision since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at beDirect GmbH & Co. KG as a Full Stack Web Developer from July 2018 to October 2021. During their time there, they developed web applications using Angular, implemented Redux library, and worked with Node.js.

Before that, Saif Islam worked at MEFA Medienfabrik S.A. as a Full Stack Web Developer from January 2017 to June 2018. Saif specialized in WordPress theme and module/plugin development, responsive theme development using Bootstrap, and deploying WP projects to staging/production servers.

Saif also has experience as a Frontend Web Developer at amavido UG from April 2016 to February 2017, and as a Web Developer at conlabz GmbH from November 2014 to October 2016. In these roles, they worked with various CSS media queries, CMS frameworks, CSS preprocessors, and version control systems.

Saif Islam started their career as a Packet Switching (PS) Core Network Engineer at Huawei from February 2011 to October 2013, providing maintenance and troubleshooting support for mobile broadband/PS products. Saif also worked as a Transmission Engineer at Ericsson for a short period in January and February 2011.

Saif Islam has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Web Science, which they obtained from the University of Koblenz and Landau between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science & IT from the Islamic University of Technology from 2007 to 2010. Before their undergraduate studies, Saif Islam completed their Higher Secondary Certificate from Notre Dame College in 2006, with a focus on Science. Saif began their academic journey at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, where they obtained their Secondary School Certificate in 2004, also with a focus on Science. Additionally, Saif Islam has obtained several certifications related to Symfony, such as "Mastering Doctrine Relations!" and "Symfony Security: Authentication & Authorization," from SymfonyCasts in 2020.
