Simon ▫ Judd

Simon Judd has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Simon ▫ is currently serving as the CTO and co-founder of 3AI since March 2019. Before that, they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Just Group plc from February 2018 to February 2019.

From November 2013 to February 2018, Simon worked as a Consultant Developer for Front Office at BP. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Fixed Income IT at Barclays Capital from March 2004 to November 2013.

Simon also took a break from the corporate world to pursue their passion for sailing. As a Skipper, they led a crew of five in sailing a yacht across the Atlantic from November 2002 to March 2004, exploring remote locations and managing various aspects of the journey.

Earlier in their career, Simon worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Equisys from June 1998 to November 2002. Simon ▫ contributed to the development of Zetalink and Zetafax, utilizing technologies such as C++, ATL COM, Win32 UI, ASP, and SQL Server.

In 1993, Simon briefly worked in defence research at Dstl.

Simon Judd completed their education at the University of Cambridge from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Master's degree in Neuroscience. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sussex from 1994 to 1998.
