Mitchell Smith

Mitchell Smith is the current Vice President and Head of Scripted Entertainment at 3BlackDot. Mitchell has held this position since January 2019. Prior to this, they were the Director of Scripted Development at 51 Minds Entertainment from January 2015 to December 2018. Before that, they were an Agent Trainee at William Morris Endeavor from July 2011 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, Mitchell interned at the Independent Film Channel in New York, NY from May 2010 to August 2010. Mitchell then went on to work as a Senior Event Planner at Autism Speaks from September 2009 to April 2011. In May 2013, they became an Associate Producer and Executive Assistant to Producer Marty Bowen at Temple Hill Entertainment. From August 2010 to April 2011, they also served as the National Director of Marketing & Promotions at EPIC Campus. Finally, in May 2009 they began their professional career as a Production Intern at FUSE EAST COAST PRODUCTIONS, a division of MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NY, NY.

Mitchell Smith has a BA from the University of Michigan in Sociology of Business and a minor in Screen Arts & Cultures (Film).
