Simona Alberti

Simona Alberti is a doctoral student at Vibrant Lab, focusing on pollinator monitoring through innovative technologies such as bioacoustics, in collaboration with the University of Turin. As a biodiversity expert at 3Bee and an entomologist with the Regional Natural Park of Portofino and Parco delle Alpi Liguri, Simona has developed management plans for invertebrates across various protected areas. Previous roles include research on Apis mellifera's self-medication at the University of Sassari and various academic positions at the University of Turin, including tutoring and project development related to biodiversity and GIS analysis. Simona's educational background includes a current doctoral program in Zoology at the University of Turin, a Master's degree in GIScience from the University of Padova, and a Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Turin.
