Chief Genomics Officer at 3billion

Hane Lee has extensive work experience in the field of genomics and clinical research. They are currently serving as the Chief Genomics Officer at 3billion, a position they started in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UCLA Health, where they held various roles from Assistant Researcher to Clinical Professor. In their role as an Assistant Researcher, they played a crucial role in setting up and managing the Clinical Exome Sequencing test at the UCLA Clinical Genomics Center. They also led and organized the UCLA Genomic Data Board meetings to review patient data. Before joining UCLA Health, they worked at UCLA as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Staff Research Associate.

Hane Lee has an extensive education history in the field of genetics and biological sciences. From 1997 to 2002, Hane attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences. Following this, Hane pursued further education at UCLA, from 2002 to 2007, and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Genetics.
