Founded in 2011 and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 3D Evolution (3DE) are a privately held live image capture services start up developing and fabricating camera rigs that permit 3D filming to be shot at rates comparable to 2D costs. 

Simultaneously, 3DE has developed and continues to develop 360/VR equipment, production techniques, and image capture processes that will greatly simplify the workflow of 360/VR allowing for lower cost, high quality live capture 360/VR product that is true stereoscopic 3D, with 360 spherical ability. Utilizing a proprietary 3D Stereo Camera (beamsplitter) Rig (3DE–SCR) and employing our Reel Production Methodology (RPM), 3DE has realized the capability of creating theatrical quality productions at a fraction of the cost associated with traditional 3D systems and productions. 

Additionally, we have the capability of upgrading our true Stereoscopic 3D offering into 360 spherical live image capture services using our Virtual Reality Rig (3DE-VRR) for high end capture or our 360 Prosumer (quality) Rigs (3DE-360PR) available in 6 (monoscopic) or 11 (stereoscopic) camera models. 

Lastly, we will release our Point of View (POV) Stereo 3D 360 rig, allows for movement in the 360 realm, rig name and release date to follow soon in Q1 2016. Our aim is to provide the most versatile equipment, knowledge, production value to the professionals in the entertainment industry wanting Stereoscopic 3D 360 live capture solutions. We offer a wide range of 3D and 360 equipment at various costs to allow all consumers access to 360, in hopes of increased content creation in a fantastic new realm of 360 Virtual Reality!
