3D Genetics was founded in 1997 with the purchase of some of the first fullblood Wagyu cattle imported into Australia. It has grown into an Industry leading Wagyu Breeding Company. 

Later, the team developed 'Pukawidgi', a smart farm in New South Wales, enhancing farming efficiency and mitigating drought impacts through satellite-aided management. 

Pukawidgi also hosts Australia's second-largest feed efficiency station, aiding in the genetic selection of more feed-efficient animals.
