Amber Porter

Amber Porter is an accomplished professional in the fields of data analytics and education, currently serving as Manager of Data Analytics at 3D Systems Corporation since January 2019. Previously, Amber held various academic roles at Clemson University from August 2010 to August 2018, including Lecturer, where responsibilities included instructing large classes and managing the digital planetarium. Significant achievements include coordinating the "Eclipse Over Clemson" event, which drew over 50,000 attendees for the 2017 total solar eclipse. Amber's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Physics with an emphasis on Astrophysics from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lycoming College. Additional experience includes developing educational programs for middle school students and tutoring student-athletes in astronomy.
