James Cox

James Cox is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and manufacturing. Currently serving as a DDP Senior Product Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation since March 2017, James leads engineering efforts on the Figure 4 and Modular systems, along with associated 3D accessories. Prior to this role, James held positions as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at SIG SAUER, Inc., where collaboration on bullet design and tooling for ammunition manufacturing occurred, and as an Engineer at RK&K, where James developed computational models to analyze the effects of transmission power lines on pipelines. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earned between 2007 and 2011.
