Dong Wu is a Mechanical Engineer at 3DEO since May 2023, previously serving as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles from September 2017 to May 2023, where contributions included inventing photo-patternable metal inks for direct metal printing and optimizing technologies for low-cost mass production applicable in wearable electronics and medical devices. Additional work involved designing a projection micro stereolithography system for 3D printing stimuli-responsive hydrogels and polymer composites. Prior experience includes research in solid electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries at Southern University of Science and Technology from September 2013 to July 2017, and summer research focused on bicontinuous gel scaffolds for electrodes in redox flow batteries at UC Irvine in 2016. Dong Wu holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Southern University of Science and Technology.
