Peter Wirtz

Peter Wirtz is currently Co-Head of Private Equity at 3i. Peter has been with the company since 2008, and in their current role, they are responsible for leading the private equity business and managing a portfolio of investments.

Previously, they were a Partner at 3i Group plc from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they were Director from 2003 to 2008. Before joining 3i Group, they were an Investment Manager at Procter & Gamble from 1998 to 2002.

Wirtz began their career in 1995 as a Manager in Finance at Procter & Gamble. Peter has experience in a variety of industries, including consumer goods, private equity, and investment management.

Peter Wirtz attended the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, where they studied business administration.

Peter Wirtz reports to Simon Borrows, CEO. Peter Wirtz works with Pieter De Jong - Co-Head, Private Equity, Scott Moseley - Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure, and Bernardo Sottomayor - Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure.
