Peter Student

Peter Student has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Peter currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Gratitude, a role they started in March 2021. Before that, they also served as Chief Technology Officer at 3IPK starting in June 2020.

Prior to their leadership roles, Peter worked as the Head of Software Development at DECENT from October 2017 to March 2020. Before that, they held a similar position at Thirtyseventy Digital from August 2015 to August 2017.

Peter also has experience in project management and software development. Peter worked at Alice in Tokyo from September 2011 to April 2015, initially as a Senior Ruby Developer and later as a Digital Producer.

Earlier in their career, Peter acted as a Development Director at Sun Marketing, s.r.o. from June 2009 to August 2011. In this role, they focused on developing software solutions using the Ruby on Rails framework for clients such as DHL, Philips, Radio Expres, and AXA Assistance.

Before that, Peter was a Team Lead (Ruby Developer) at LIN, a.s. (Rááádio Impuls) from July 2008 to June 2009, where they led a team of 6 developers and worked on internal IT projects.

Peter started their career as a Product Manager at Sun Marketing, s.r.o. from August 2006 to July 2008, where they were responsible for the Search Engine Marketing department and supervised PPC campaigns.

Earlier on, Peter worked as a Freelance Journalist at Petit Press, Digital Visions from 2002 to 2005.

Peter Student earned a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Peter then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2009 to 2011.
