Prior experience includes roles as a Robotics Engineer at Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of intelligent boat systems and navigation solutions. Prior to that, Thomas held a Co-op Student position at Wandercraft, focusing on dynamic walking stabilization algorithms for lower body exoskeletons. Additional experiences include an internship at Loria, developing geo-fencing solutions for UAVs, and a summer internship at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Applied Safety-Critical Control of Cyber-Physical Systems from Caltech, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master's Degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers.
