Brett Strand

Brett Strand is currently the VP and Associate General Counsel - Labor & Employment at 3M. Brett has extensive experience in employment law, having represented management in employment law matters for over 10 years. Brett has also been a partner at Cornell Smith Mierl & Brutucao and a judicial law clerk at the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Brett Strand completed their undergraduate degree at The Citadel in Political Science and then went on to complete their Juris Doctor at The University of Texas School of Law.

They are on a team with Mike Ottesen - SVP, People and Operations, Felipe Lara-Angeli - Chief Learning Officer, and Jonathan Hefner - Head of 3M Global Employee Assistance Program. Brett Strand reports to Zoe Dickson, EVP & CHRO.
