Caleb T Nelson

Caleb T Nelson is an experienced professional in the field of plasma technology and surface modification, with a strong academic background including a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. Nelson began as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas from August 2005 to October 2010, focusing on fluorocarbon plasma-surface interactions and plasma reactor design. Subsequently, at 3M from September 2019 to February 2022, Nelson transitioned through roles as Advanced Research Specialist Vacuum Plasma Lead and Senior Research Scientist, leading corporate research and development activities for both vacuum and atmospheric plasma technologies while focusing on inventing and commercializing new technologies.
