Carolann Shields

Carolann Shields, CISSP, CISO, is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with extensive leadership experience in information security. Currently serving as Sr. Vice President & Global Chief Information Security Officer at 3M since August 2022, Carolann previously held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Baker Hughes from October 2020 to August 2022 and at KPMG US from August 2013 to May 2020, where Carolann contributed to enhancing corporate governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Prior to these roles, Carolann spent over 16 years at McKinsey & Company, beginning as IT Program Manager and advancing to IT Security Program Manager, where responsibilities included managing global IT security services and developing comprehensive security programs. Carolann holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance from Waterford Institute of Technology.
