Choong S. currently serves as the Director and Head of Silicon Valley at 3M Ventures since June 2020, alongside roles as an investor in several startups, including Gatik, Clau, Laika Mascotas, CoLab Software, and AmpUp. Prior experience includes serving as General Partner at Sohn Capital Advisors since January 2019 and as a Senior Manager of Open Innovation at Lenovo Group Ltd from 2016 to 2019, where focus areas included machine learning, AR/VR, and IoT. Choong S. began a career in investment as an Investment Associate at SK Telecom Americas from 2012 to 2014 and held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at RED Resource Inc. from 2009 to 2010.
