Daniel Iden

Daniel Iden is the Director and Assistant General Counsel at 3M, where they have held multiple roles including Senior Intellectual Property Counsel. From 2018 to 2023, they served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, teaching Legal Writing and Research for the Masters of Science in Patent Law program. Daniel earned a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BA in Physics and Astronomy from Northwestern University. Their extensive experience in intellectual property spans various divisions within 3M, where they have managed patent applications, IP litigation, and strategic counseling.
